When is the best time to come to CLICS?We might be biased but honestly, It is always a good time to come to CLICS! We are located in the beautiful bay of Hiriketiya, a surfer and tropical paradise. You might have heard of the “seasons” in the south coast of Sri Lanka but let's debunk this myth once and for all. November until April is considered "high season" and May until to October "low season" but this is just because of the surf condition. Overall it is true that waves are better during high season however, due to the shape of Hiriketiya bay, we get waves all year round! Obviously it’s better during high season but if you like dancing in the rain then low season is perfect too... or actually better and here is why: The temperature is fluctuating between 27 and 33 degrees. The beach is quiet and calm. There is no waiting time at any restaurant. Room prices are lower. Everything around the area kind of slows down and it’s a great time to come if you wish to relax more.

How do I get to CLICS from the airport ?PRIVATE AIRPORT TRANSFER Pricey but no stress Travel worry free and let us arrange your transfer from the airport to CLICS. After a long flight there is nothing more comfortable than to just hop on a pre arranged taxi. It will take you 2 hours to get to CLICS. Transfers are carried out by licensed drivers only who passed the Sri Lanka “Safe and secure” protocols. Please send us your flight details including flight numbers to book the transfer. Price is about 95 Eur per car. (can be shared) TRAIN Cheap but with a mild stress When you arrive at Colombo International Airport you need to take a bus or taxi to Colombo Fort which will take around 45-60 minutes. From Colombo Fort you need to take a train to Wewurukannala (check train schedules here: https://railway.gov.lk/web/ ). The train costs around 3 euros and takes about 3 hours. From Wewurukannala to CLICS is a short tuk-tuk ride. BUS it’s an adventure :) When you arrive at Colombo International Airport you need to get to Matara first. If you are lucky, you can get the highway bus from the Airport to Matara, legend says there are 2 buses a day but we still were not able to understand at what times or where to check the timetable. Safest is to get the first bus to Colombo bus station, from there you can catch the highway bus to Matara. ( https://www.businfo.lk/ ) From Matara you can hop on the local buses to Dickwella, they run very frequently. From Dickwella bus station to CLICS is a short tuk tuk ride or 20 min walk.
